Lori Rejent

Hello! My name is Lori Rejent, and I am the elementary music specialist at McGrath Elementary. I love making and creating music with the students of Brentwood. We learn to melodic instruments such as Orff Xylophones and Recorder and do many movement-based activities. I have been at Brentwood since 2007, and have taught at all four schools in the district. I received a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, a Master's Degree in Education from Xavier University, and have received certification in Classroom Management and Motivation, Character Education, and have Level 1 Certification from Orff-Schulwerk and Kodally Teaching Music Pedagogies. My goal is to help guide the students of Brentwood grow in their musicianship, as learners, and as citizens of the world. I have four children, and recently lived in Bologna, Italy for a year. This was an amazing experience that helped me to grow as a person and a teacher. I love teaching and can't wait to make and create music with the students of McGrath.
